Best WordPress SEO Plugin...what do you guys think?

Worst plugin? Definitely AIOSEO. I tried to install it and it added three other plugins I didn’t want. It’s a money grab, plain and simple.

Same here. Those extra plugins were annoying and full of upsells. Uninstalled everything in a few minutes.

RankMath is great, but only if you already have some basic SEO knowledge. Otherwise, none of them will be the ‘best’ for you.

Good point.

RankMath has more options in the free version compared to Yoast.

Things like setting SEO titles, social media descriptions, keyword analysis, sitemaps, schema, redirects, and more.

@SEOstan
Yoast has all those features in the free version too.

Does it have redirects though?

Yep, it sure does.

Yeah, Yoast has redirects as well.

SEOPress.

I’m curious why this got downvoted. SEOPress is pretty solid, similar to SEO Framework. Did I miss something?

People downvote here because they disagree, not because something is wrong.

I don’t downvote competitors, but SEOPress and SEO Framework are quite different. It’s all about what works for you. SEOPress is good but suffers from feature overload like most SEO plugins do.

I tried SEOPress but didn’t really like it. I use RankMath now, though there are some things that bug me about it. After reading these comments, I’m thinking about giving SEO Framework a try.

@Sigmod
What didn’t you like about SEOPress? Just curious.

My favorite is Yoast, but I haven’t tried many others. It works for me because I mainly use it for basic tasks like meta tags.

I find Yoast a bit too much if all you want is to add meta tags.

AIOSEO is what I use for all my WordPress projects. I don’t rely on free plugins for something as important as SEO. The paid ones usually keep up with updates better, and AIOSEO’s Link Assistant is great for managing content updates.
