How good is WordPress for SEO and does it really make a difference?

SEO isn’t about WordPress itself, it’s about how well your theme is coded.

I didn’t know that, I thought themes didn’t affect SEO.

Yeah, look into technical SEO and SERP best practices, then find a theme that follows those.

WordPress is used by most major sites, so that says a lot about how good it is for SEO.

I manage a WordPress site that gets 100k visits a month, SEO has been solid.

If you know what you’re doing, WordPress has all the tools needed to be great for SEO. Just takes time and effort.

If your WordPress site follows best practices and you use something like Yoast SEO, you can rank well. But content quality and proper tagging matter more than anything.

I’ve had great results using WordPress for local SEO. The key is putting in the time to understand your audience and competitors. Plugins help, but strategy and content quality make the biggest difference.

WordPress is great for SEO because it allows for easy customization and optimization. But just using WordPress isn’t enough, you still need good content, fast loading times, and backlinks to rank well.
