How to fix deindexed website and get it back on Google?

Hey everyone,

Lately, it seems like many website owners are dealing with sudden deindexing issues where their pages completely disappear from Google’s search results. Has anyone figured out how to get them back on Google? Any advice is welcome!

Check Google Search Console for penalties. If there’s a penalty, you’ll need to fix the issue and file an appeal. If there’s no penalty, it could be algorithmic, and you may just need to wait it out while improving your site. Don’t forget to double-check basics like ensuring you haven’t accidentally set pages to ‘noindex.’

If the algo gods punished you like they did me, consider focusing on social media or diversifying traffic sources. It’s tough to rely on something that can change overnight.

Exactly. Always diversify—don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Google basically told me to make videos for YouTube since my content wasn’t good enough anymore. Diversify and explore other platforms.

Don’t forget to explore other video-sharing sites too. Some of those also get indexed by Google.

Are your pages deindexed completely, or are they just not ranking? Many people confuse the two.

I have 100k pages indexed, but none of them are ranking anymore.

Did you check the Manual Actions tab in Google Search Console? Any flagged issues there?

I checked, and it says there are no issues detected.

That’s good news. Relax, make some tea, and focus on improving your site overall.

Try resubmitting your sitemap in Google Search Console. Using a URL indexer might also help get your pages crawled again. It’s likely an algorithmic issue.

I’m dealing with something similar—my traffic dropped by over 50%.

I can take a look at your website and share a report on what might be happening.

Make sure your content is high quality and doesn’t feel spammy. Avoid stuffing keywords and focus on natural, helpful content.

Do an audit of your site’s performance and technical SEO using tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs. Also, check for security issues and ensure there are no indexing problems by searching ‘site:yourdomain.com’ in Google Search Console.
