I came across this while searching for a similar issue. My homepage isn’t showing on search results, but the rest of my site is fine. Google Search Console shows the page is indexed, so I can’t figure out if it’s a spam issue or just indexing.

Google says the issue affected only a small number of sites and that it’s been resolved. The dashboard update came about 10 hours ago.

It doesn’t seem resolved for some sites, including ones I work on.

It’s definitely more than a small number. My site is still affected.
