Is using an H5 right after H1 a problem for SEO?

If you just want the H5 styling, use a span with CSS instead. But honestly, Google doesn’t care about heading order.

Google doesn’t force any heading structure. Anyone who says otherwise is repeating SEO myths.

The span suggestion was just for looks. But yeah, heading order is not something Google penalizes.

Right, and putting a form under an H5 won’t change anything for rankings.

Technically, if you follow a strict heading hierarchy, jumping from an H1 to an H5 is a big jump.

So what? Google doesn’t care.

Google does care about structure, just not in a way that’s super strict. Well-structured headings help users and might improve how Google understands a page.

There’s no proof that heading order affects rankings. Google themselves have said it doesn’t matter.

Google says a lot of things, but they don’t always tell the full story. Clear structure helps with readability and might help rankings indirectly.

As long as you have only one H1 and your structure makes sense, you’re fine.
