Just go for Yoast or Rank Math. I don’t recommend The SEO Framework—people hype it up too much, but it lacks basic features like adding nofollow to links or article schema.
No SEO plugin will magically improve your rankings. They just help you structure things properly.
Yoast SEO is still a good choice, but there are plenty of alternatives out there. It’s worth comparing features before choosing one.
I left Yoast for The SEO Framework, then switched to Rank Math when it launched. Haven’t looked back.
I think Rank Math is better than Yoast.
Most SEO plugins do the same thing—help you structure metadata easily. The free versions are usually enough.
Surprised to see so much focus on redirects. You shouldn’t even be using an SEO plugin for that—just handle it in your htaccess file.
If you have a good developer, skip SEO plugins. You can build SEO directly into the theme and do it better without paying for plugins.
