So if buying links is so risky, how do you build links safely?

The best way is to create really good content that people want to link to naturally. You can also do outreach to promote your content to sites that might find it useful.
@BillSmith
Right, but outreach takes a ton of time. You’ve gotta be really persistent and find the right sites to pitch.

Yeah, it’s not quick, but it’s safer. If your content is good, it’ll attract links over time. Plus, outreach gives you more control over who links to you, so you don’t have to worry about shady sites.

Also, make sure the sites you’re targeting aren’t just link farms. If a site is selling a ton of links, they’re probably on Google’s radar.
I think the key is to avoid anything that looks unnatural. If you see a bunch of commercial keywords with exact-match anchor text in random places, that’s a red flag.

Commercial keywords? What do you mean by that?
@brown
Like, if you’re seeing links with keywords like ‘best casino bonuses’ or ‘buy cheap sunglasses,’ it’s a sign they were probably paid for. Google catches onto stuff like that.
So in the end, is it worth buying backlinks or not?

Honestly, it depends on how much risk you’re willing to take. If you’re just starting out or running a legit business, it’s probably not worth it. But if you know the risks and can handle getting hit by Google, some people still buy links and do okay.
@robert
Yeah, it’s risky business. Some people get away with it, but others don’t. Google’s always getting better at catching paid links, so it’s a gamble.
