Looking for advice on SEO plugins for WordPress. Between Yoast and Rank Math, which one is better? Or is there another option worth considering?
Depends on what you mean by ‘best.’ If you want the lightest and least intrusive one, The SEO Framework is a solid choice. Unlike Yoast or Rank Math, it doesn’t constantly push for upgrades or spam you with notifications.
That said, no SEO plugin can guarantee rankings. It’s more about how you use it and how well your site is structured.

Appreciate the insight. Honestly, seeing people recommend The SEO Framework makes me feel like I’ve been missing out. Might give it a try.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was using Rank Math but switched to The SEO Framework and it’s been great.

Yoast was annoying with all the upsells. The free version felt too limited. Just switched to The SEO Framework and liking it so far.
The SEO Framework keeps things simple and gets the job done. No bloat, no unnecessary extras, just a good SEO tool.
I started with the free version of The SEO Framework and later upgraded to Pro. The free version was already solid, but I wanted to support the team behind it. No regrets.

How does it work exactly? Installed it but not sure how to set it up.
Been using The SEO Framework for years, and I recommend it for every WordPress site I build. No unnecessary features, just what you need for good SEO.
SEO plugins all do the same basic things. Just use whatever works best for your setup. Personally, I like The SEO Framework for its simplicity.
Rank Math requires you to sign up for an account just to use its features. Not a fan of that.
The SEO Framework and Rank Math seem to be the most popular options. I’ve used both and had good experiences.
I prefer Yoast. It’s more intuitive, and while I don’t follow all its recommendations, it’s a good guide.
I use SEOPress. Simple and effective.
Yoast and AIOSEO work well too, depending on your needs.
Tried AIOSEO and uninstalled it immediately. It added three extra plugins I didn’t ask for. Felt like a cash grab.

Yeah, all those extra plugins with constant upsell pop-ups were a dealbreaker for me too.
Rank Math is good, but you need some basic SEO knowledge to make the most of it. Otherwise, none of them are really ‘best.’
Rank Math has more free features than Yoast, so if you don’t want to pay for extra features, it’s a better choice.

Like what exactly? Curious to know.
