Anyone else seeing lower impressions and clicks on GSC today?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone noticed a significant drop in impressions and clicks on Google Search Console today? My numbers are showing a 90% decrease for the most recent data. Is this just happening to me, or could this be related to a Google update?

Looks like they’ve made some changes, at least in the UI! It’s probably just a bit of downtime during the update.

Thanks! That definitely makes me feel better.

GSC sometimes experiences delays since it gets data dumps from Google’s internal systems. It’s usually nothing to worry about.

It hasn’t updated for the last six hours. That’s fairly normal. Earlier this year, there were cases where updates were delayed by a few days. If you’re worried, check other analytics sources, but don’t stress about Search Console data that’s newer than two days.

Thank you! I just saw on X that Google announced some updates were completed today. Not sure if this is related, but I hope there’s nothing wrong with my site. :worried:

Since the March update, my traffic has dropped by 90-99%. It’s frustrating how Google seems to favor the highest bidders now. Organic marketing traffic is doing well, but yesterday my Google traffic was at 0 clicks. Feels like a waste after putting 100k pages on Google.

Same here. It’s disappointing that competitors rank higher with AI-generated PBN content.

You might need an SEO audit to figure out why you’re being affected. Post-HCU, SEO has become a different game entirely.

I haven’t noticed anything unusual so far.

  • Check Google Status Updates: See if there are announcements about delays or system issues.
  • Manual Testing: Search for your keywords to confirm your site still appears in results.
  • Review Changes: Look for any recent updates you’ve made to your site or SEO strategy.

You need an SEO audit. I’ve been helping clients recover from SEO issues post-HCU, and the first step is always diagnosing the problem and building a strategy to address it.

Getting an SEO audit feels like taking your car in for a service—you never know what surprises they’ll find! Tools like Raven Tools and SEMrush can help, but platforms like Pulse for Réddit make capturing insights simpler.

Does your car sound like it’s about to explode when driving? If so, go see a mechanic, haha.
