seconding Semrush, more accurate data in my experience

I mostly agree, but with AI’s impact on SEO, here’s our updated list of tools:

Ahrefs and SEMrush have been slow to incorporate AI into their platforms.

Writesonic and SurferSEO stand out as the top all-in-one options.

Spok focuses on keyword discovery and content strategy, while Jasper is geared towards content creation and optimization.

ahrefs & semrush, but pricey.

ubersuggest is affordable but basic.

lowfruits.io is good for niche keyword research, though it helps if you already know some SEO.

have you tried writesonic, scalenut, or NexMind?

@KeywordLioness
Nope

if you’re just starting, free tools work fine:

  • google search console
  • google analytics
  • screaming frog (free version)

later, the paid version of screaming frog is great for audits.

Semrush also has a free version with lower limits, good for beginners.

ahrefs and Surfer SEO are my go-tos; screaming frog is solid for audits, and google lighthouse for site speed checks.

leaning toward semrush over ahrefs lately for broader tools; lowfruits for niche keywords and ChatGPT with AIPRM too.

best free: Google Search Console & Sheets

best paid: Ahrefs and Semrush

nothing beats SEMrush!

totally agree, tried ahrefs but semrush is better imo.

semrush for sure, also check out group buys—they make it affordable.

how do you find group buys?

screaming frog, yoast, and google search console. frog’s great for technical audits, yoast for content optimization!

the one and only SEMrush.
