Best way to set up permalinks for pages on multiple cities and services?

Hello all, I run a home services website that covers multiple locations and offers different services. I’m trying to figure out the best structure for permalinks. Here are a few options, and I’m leaning toward #2:

  1. /city-name/service
  2. /city-name/service+city
  3. /services/single-service/city
  4. Other – or is there a better way?

Any thoughts would be really helpful!

Keep it simple – cityname/service is the best approach.

In my experience, using /location/service works well. I’ve managed to rank both websites and Google Business Profiles with this structure. If you tell me your business type, I might be able to suggest a specific sitemap for you.
