Do inline links and related post links carry the same SEO weight?

I use two types of internal links on my site: inline links within the blog post and ‘related posts’ links at the end of each post. My theme allows for 3 related post links at the bottom, and I always use all 3. Within the post content, I usually add 2-3 inline links depending on how long the article is.

I understand that internal linking helps Google understand my site structure and improves page rankings, but I’m wondering—do both types of links carry the same weight in Google’s eyes? Or is one considered more impactful for SEO?

Inline links that are contextually relevant tend to carry more weight for SEO because they are directly tied to the content. Internal links in general are critical for improving page rankings, but the placement and relevance of the link make a difference.
