Back in September, I asked this forum for advice on improving SEO for my website and reaching more people. The tips and support I received were super helpful, and I’m thankful to everyone who contributed.
Since then, I’ve kept up with posting 1-2 blogs weekly, improving internal linking, using keywords better, adding alt text for images, and making the content more user-friendly. Results started showing in November, and over the last month, I’ve had 10.6K clicks and 339K impressions.
I’ll keep sharing updates here and learning more from everyone!
Good job on the clicks. These days, Google seems to favor new blogs. I’ve noticed some getting views from Google Discover too. I have two new blogs, and both get traffic through it.
I’m just getting started and need help with some terms. What do you mean by internal links and keywords? Also, any other tips for beginners? My business is vending and coffee services based in Orlando. Thanks for any help!

Can you explain how to do internal linking? I’d appreciate it.
When writing a post, I look for words that relate to my previous content and link them to those articles. Sometimes, I’ll add lines like ‘Check out this article…’ and link it there. I avoid overusing links and only add them when it makes sense. If you’re on WordPress, plugins like ‘Inline Related Posts’ can help.
@Leif
I’ve written 266 posts since early 2023, but I didn’t focus on SEO until this September. Most of the traffic is organic and comes from search engines.
Amazing progress! Those are solid numbers. Internal linking and good structure make a big difference. Something that helped me was focusing on quality backlinks from trusted sites. It’s better to have a few from good sources than a lot from random places.
Here’s what worked for me:
Reach out to sites linking similar content.
Create detailed content that stands out.
Build connections with other site owners.
Get featured as an expert source in your industry.
Keep up the consistency, and you’ll see even more growth!
That’s an amazing milestone—10.6K clicks and 339K impressions are impressive. Did you have a specific strategy for building backlinks? Would love to know how that worked for you!
