How to Use My Location-Specific Domains for SEO?

I have a main domain for my disposal business (e.g., plateaudisposal.com) and recently got several domains with the names of local townships followed by ‘junk removal’ (e.g., nashvillejunkremoval.com, smyrnajunkremoval.com).

What’s the best way to use these location-based domains to help SEO for my main site? I’m new to all this and finding it hard to know which advice to trust since everyone I talk to wants to sell me a monthly service.

Also, does anyone know where I can find a freelancer who works hourly to help with basic SEO tagging improvements for my website?

Thanks!

I’d focus on your main site and create landing pages for each township. Managing multiple sites is a lot more work, and those pages could cover all the specific terms for each area.

So, the landing page would just include all the right SEO terms and link back to the main site?

@Nathan
Yes, the landing pages would be part of your main site. I’d skip setting up extra sites.

If you do decide to use the extra domains, try putting unique content on each. Some may rank, and you could add links from those back to relevant city-specific pages on your main site.
