Is WordPress Still the Best for SEO?

Webflow is nice but expensive. If you don’t need extreme design flexibility, WordPress is more cost-effective.

Would a fully custom-coded site perform better than WordPress because it has zero bloat?

Yes, but only if optimized properly. A poorly coded custom site can still perform worse than a well-optimized WordPress site.

I own 70 WordPress sites and grow my portfolio every year. I automate SEO and content updates, making WordPress the most practical choice.

HTML5 is faster and more agile than WordPress, but you need a year or more to move away from WP completely.

WordPress is still great, but only if maintained properly. You need to regularly update plugins and optimize performance.

Webflow is solid, but Framer is another good no-code builder worth testing.

WordPress is still the best CMS. If you have a better alternative with self-hosting and full control, let me know.

Bricks Builder is a better alternative to Elementor for WordPress. It’s lighter and faster.
