People don't backlink so how can I beat the competition?

I am having trouble staying ahead of the established competitors on my e-commerce website for a niche product. While rival sites have more than 20, my DR is stuck at 8.

Although the sector currently exclusively shares on social media, which I understand does not count as back links, competitors appear to have some strong back links from prior years.

I want to know how I can outperform the competition if they have a history of connections yet there are no relationships in the sector now. In a sense, blogs are obsolete.

To compete effectively, focus on acquiring high-quality backlinks from relevant, authoritative sites in your niche. Consider guest posting, partnerships, and content collaborations to build credibility and improve Domain Rating (DR). Additionally, enhance on-page SEO, user experience, and content relevance to attract and retain organic traffic despite historical link advantages held by competitors.
