For SEO, I’ve seen some people use the following format for file names:
pet+store+appleton+mall.png
And I’ve seen people use alt text without the + sign:
pet store appleton mall
Should I be using the + sign for file names throughout the website? If so, does it help to use the + sign for alt text as well?
Also, do I need to include the .png or .jpg at the end of the file name, or is it better for SEO to leave it off?
