Hi guys,
I recently ran an audit of a 6,000-page website using Semrush and Ahrefs. Now, I need to create a consolidated report focusing on two main trackers:
- Technical Tracker: Includes issues like 301s, 404s, markup errors, etc.
- Content Tracker: Covers title and description duplicates, H1, H2 issues, etc.
My strategy is to have an overview sheet listing all errors, followed by individual sheets highlighting specific issues (e.g., all 404s grouped on one sheet).
Previously, I worked as an in-house SEO for a smaller website with 700-800 URLs, and we primarily used Screaming Frog for audits. Now that I’m at an agency, this is my first audit for a large website. I have last year’s audit report for the same site, but it’s poorly formatted and confusing, making it hard for both the client and my team to understand.
I’m looking for advice on how to merge findings from Semrush and Ahrefs into one cohesive report. Has anyone done something similar? How do you usually create trackers like this? I’m also looking for design ideas, as this is my first major audit and I need to impress my boss .
