I am working on getting backlinks from high-authority news websites. I’m not sure if it’s better to have ‘do-follow’ backlinks to my homepage or specific articles. My main goal is to improve the overall authority of my website, which is a news platform, instead of focusing on just individual articles. Any advice?
Where are you planning to get these backlinks from?

From actual news sites like CNN or BBC.
If your goal is to improve your site’s domain authority, backlinks to your homepage are usually the way to go. Most journalists also prefer linking directly to homepages rather than specific pages.
For building authority, we usually suggest pointing most backlinks to the homepage. You can then use internal links to spread the authority across your site. If you have specific pages you really want to rank, you can send a few backlinks there too, but prioritize the homepage.
I’m looking to buy backlinks for a travel site focused on Amsterdam. Do you know any good places to get them?
