Should I stick to travel blogs or add more features?

I have a relatively new site focused on travel blogs, and I’ve managed to rank some keywords. I’m starting to wonder if keeping it strictly for blogs is the best approach for long-term growth. Should I keep it blog-exclusive or consider adding other elements, like travel guide eBooks or similar features, to help it grow?

What’s your end goal here? Do you just want to rank well or make money?

If it’s about making money, figure out how you want to monetize it. Are you thinking of selling backlinks or travel packages? Every page you create should have a clear Call To Action that aligns with your goals. Start there instead of just creating content without a strategy.

I started with just blogs too, but I learned that diversification is crucial for growth. From my experience, travel blogs perform better when combined with downloadable guides or checklists. They’re also easier to monetize.

You can keep the blog as your main traffic driver, but try creating a PDF guide for one of your popular destinations and see how it does. It’s a good way to test the waters.

Got it, thanks for the suggestion! Did you add those guides early on or after the blog gained traction?
