Should I use 301 redirects or create a PBN for expired domains?

I’ve found six expired domains that are clean, indexed, and have decent link profiles related to my niche. Now I’m stuck deciding whether to redirect these domains to pages on my main site or use them to set up a private blog network (PBN).

I understand a PBN will require more domains, but I’m curious about the pros and cons of each approach. For those who’ve tried both, which strategy worked better for you? Any advice would be appreciated.

Using too many redirects might look suspicious to Google. I’m not sure what the exact limit is, but it feels like something Google could easily flag and ignore.
